Audition Rules

Terms & Conditions

  1. The last day to register for the event is June 20th, 2023.
  2. Participants must be at least 18 years of age to apply for the Acting Audition.
  3. Participants may be required to provide proof of identification and age.
  4. Registration is restricted to individuals of Indian descent residing in the USA and Canada.
  5. All information provided on the Acting Audition form must be accurate and truthful.
  6. The registration fee of $100 covers only the cost of registration and does not include any additional value.
  7. Upon registration, participants are entitled to attend the Film Festival screenings subject to seat availability.
  8. Participants will have the opportunity to attend the Master Class / Workshop on July 8th and 9th, 2023, by distinguished IGFF Panel.
  9. For Actor:
    1. 3 minutes’ video shot in Horizontal (If shot on mobile) good quality with proper light (for visibility) and clear sound (Language: Gujarati, Hindi & English).
    2. Any genre, any subject, any character or situation which suits you.
    3. Participants are allowed to use make-up / Costumes/ Hair do / sound effects and only original music.
    4. It should be just one person and no co-actors are allowed in the Video.
  10. For Director /Music Composer: Provide a 3 Minutes Video or Music File link to your previous work.
  11. For Writer: Provide a 3 minutes final Film Script.
  12. The video content must be free of any offensive material and adhere to clean standards.
  13. It is important that video submissions do not infringe on any copyright laws.
  14. Low quality video/sound will not be accepted
  15. By sending the video to us you abide by rules & regulations of “Spot the Talent”
  16. Three runner ups will be announced in the final result at closing ceremony of the festival.
  17. You are not entitled to share Video sent to us to share it on any social media or any other platforms.
  18. The selection committee’s decision will be final.
  19. A participant certificate will be provided to all participants.
  20. It is the responsibility of the participant to cover the expenses associated with attending the film festival, including travel, accommodation, and food.
  21. Any incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.
  22. No disputes or dissatisfactions will be allowed or entertained.
  23. The organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the Master Class / Workshop at any time.
  24. In the event of unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or government restrictions, the organizers of the event will not be held liable for any cancellations, delays, or changes to the event schedule. Participants understand that the event may be modified or cancelled at any time due to force majeure events. In such cases, the organizers will make reasonable efforts to provide timely notice and updates to all registered participants. If the event is cancelled due to force majeure events, the organizers will not be responsible for any related costs incurred by the participants, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, or other expenses. Participants agree to hold the organizers harmless and waive any claims against them for any loss or damages resulting from force majeure events
